Dr. Nurhayati binti Mohd Marzuki MBBCH BAO LRCP&SI, MMed (Int Med), Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine, CMIA Dr. Nurhayati binti Mohd Marzuki serves as the Director of the Institut Perubatan Respiratori (IPR) and Deputy Head of the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s Respiratory Medicine Subspecialty Service. A Consultant Respiratory Physician with over 17 years of specialist experience, her clinical and research interests include thoracic oncology and tobacco control. In the field of tobacco control, she has coordinated IPR’s Smoking Cessation Services since 2012 and chaired the development of Malaysia’s Clinical Practice Guidelines for EVALI. Her expertise is frequently utilized in national policy development, including technical committees for e-cigarette regulation and legislative briefings. Dr. Nurhayati is also an active researcher, having served as a Principal Investigator for international trials on chronic cough and lung cancer genomics. Beyond her clinical and administrative duties, she is a Trustee for Lung Foundation Malaysia.
