Emeritus Professor of Zhongshan Hospital Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Director,Shanghai Respiratory Research Institute, President, International Association for Metaverse in Medicine. Dr.Chunxue Bai is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the Zhongshan Hospital Fudan University in Shanghai and Director,Shanghai Respiratory Research Institute. He received his medical degree at Harbin Medical University in China and trained for master's degree and PhD degree in Beijing Union Medical University and Shanghai Medical University. He received his postdoctoral Training in UCSF. The primary focus of Dr.Bai's clinical activities and research program that is funded by NSFC is pulmonary nodules and lung injury. He was the founding Chair of Chinese Alliance against Lung Cancer.He led the Asian Pulmonary Nodule Evaluation Guideline and number Chinese Consensus Guidelines published. He set up over 1000 sub-centers for pulmonary nodules sees patients in consultation regarding pulmonary nodules and lung cancer. Dr. Bai's International Reputation in the field is demonstrated by his election as President of the International Association and Alliance for Metaverse in Medicine, formulated consensus, and published the world's first metaverse in medicine monograph book in 2022. As the first author, published the “Updated guidance on the management of COVID-19": from an American Thoracic Society/European Respiratory Society coordinated International Task Force. He has successively established China Day at the Annual conferences at the American Thoracic Society, the European Respiratory Society, the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
