Dr Lee Lee LOW is an Infectious Disease Physician and Head of the Department of Medicine at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia. She serves on the committee for the Malaysian Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance (MyAP-AMR) and is the immediate past chief State Coordinator of Infection Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship. She has co-authored multiple national clinical standards, including the National Antibiotic Guidelines, HIV Management Guidelines, and Infection prevention and control Guidelines Dr Low currently sits on the committee of the Asia Fungal Working Group, under the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM). She is also involved in various societies in Malaysia, including the Malaysian Society of HIV Medicine, the MMIG: Malaysian Society of Infectious Disease and Chemotherapy- Mycology Interest Group, The Malaysian Society of Infection Control And Infectious Diseases, and International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT). She is deeply interested in medical mycology, with numerous publications dedicated to the subject.
