Introduction to endoscopic ultrasound via bronchoscope (EUS-B) with key references on how EUS-B adds value to practice of combined EBUS EUS-B in lung cancer and diagnosis of mediastinal lymphadenopathy. After discussion of pros of EUS-B practice, the potential risk associated with EUS-B procedures will be illustrated with evidence from systematic review and cohort studies. Pragmatic tenets for practise of combined EBUS EUS-B with illustration of technical skills required will be conveyed through case-based videos. Pitfalls related to deviation from practice tenets, limitation of EUS-B fine needle aspirate (FNA) based techniques, and related complications will be illustrated by cases. Navigating pitfalls with patient selection and recent developments will be discussed. Proposed training models and pragmatic training programs with learning curves will serve as closing.

"Rigid bronchoscope remains one of the most important life-saving procedures in interventional pulmonology. Despite advances in flexible endoscopy, it continues to play a pivotal role in managing complex airway pathology and critical emergencies. This case-based approach presentation intent to master rigid bronchoscopy in contemporary practice.
The session will outline essential fundamentals, including patient selection, procedural planning, anesthesia coordination, equipment preparation, and team dynamics-key elements that determine procedural safety and success. Practical demonstrations of real-world cases will illustrate its role in managing central airway obstruction.
Through experience-driven pearls this presentation aims to enhance confidence, procedural precision, and multidisciplinary coordination. Ultimately, rigid bronchoscopy remains not merely a procedural skill, but a critical airway rescue modality that every interventional pulmonologist must be prepared to deploy effectively in both elective and emergent settings.
