Syazatul Syakirin Sirol AflahDr

Dr. Syazatul Syakirin binti Sirol Aflah is a respiratory physician at Institut Perubatan Respiratori, Kuala Lumpur. She graduated from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2003 and obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), UK in 2010, later completed her respiratory subspecialty training in 2017. She has a special interest in interstitial lung disease (ILD) and received additional training under Professor Venerino Poletti in Forlì, Italy. She leads the SIG-ILD under the Malaysian Thoracic Society and moderates ILD multidisciplinary discussions. She is active in education and research, involved in ILD clinical trials and the respiratory training programmes.
