Prof (Dr) Duminda Yasaratne (MBBS, MD, MRCP, FCCP) is a Professor in Respiratory Medicine and Honorary Consultant Respiratory Physician attached to Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He has obtained his Post doctoral MD in Medicine from University of Colombo and further training in Respiratory Medicine in United Kingdom. He is a member of Royal College of Physicians in London and a Fellow of Asia Pacific Society of Respirology. He is currently an educational committee member of APSR. Prof Duminda Yasaratne has a keen interest on environmental health and is currently involved in clinical research on the effects of indoor and outdoor air pollution and climatic changes on respiratory health. As a member of airway assembly of Sri Lanka College of Pulmonologists, he actively involves in developing national policies on environmental health and airway diseases.
