Ildikó Horváth

I have been working at different parts of the health care system in my professional career starting from basic research through doing clinical work in pulmonology to creating legal frame for policy actions serving as State Secretary of Health. As of now I am the Head of Department of Pulmonology at the University of Debrecen and graduate and post-graduate education with clinical work and bed-side-linked translational research. Working in large international projects, like U-BIOPRED, SOLACE, EUCanScreen, LH4L and JARED, I am proud and happy to act in collaboration with widely different partners to shape the future of respiratory health and treatment of respiratory diseases. As General Secretary of the ERS I work to further strengthen our collaborations with great number of partner societies all over the world.
