Prof Noni Novisari Soeroso, MD, PhD, is Professor of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, and a consultant in thoracic oncology. Her academic interests include lung cancer, interstitial lung disease and interventional pulmonology, with a particular focus on respiratory diseases in the Asia–Pacific region. She has published extensively in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and has contributed to clinical guidelines and academic textbooks. Prof Soeroso serves as a peer reviewer for several reputable international journals and is actively involved in postgraduate medical education and academic leadership. She currently serves as Head-Elect of the Assembly of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR).
