Professor Brendon Yee, MBChB (Otago), FRACP, PhD (Sydney) Professor Brendon Yee is a Senior Staff Specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. He is a senior respiratory and sleep physician with specialist expertise in respiratory failure and a broad range of sleep disorders. He is a Clinical Professor and Head of the Discipline of Sleep Medicine at the University of Sydney and serves as Co‑Chair of the Sleep Clinical Academic Group with Sydney Health Partners. Professor Yee is also a senior clinician–researcher at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research and holds an Honorary Professorship in the Department of Medicine at Macquarie University. His research interests include the cardiometabolic and neurobiological effects of sleep apnoea, hypercapnic respiratory failure, therapeutic approaches to obstructive sleep apnoea, and central nervous system disorders of hypersomnolence. He has published over 190 peer‑reviewed journal articles and book chapters and has supervised numerous PhD and Master’s students, as well as clinical and research fellows in sleep medicine, including international trainees.
