Albert M. LiProf. Dr
Albert Li is Professor of Paediatrics and Chairman of the Department of Paediatrics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his paediatric and respiratory medicine training at King’s College Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, United Kingdom. His clinical and research expertise lies in paediatric sleep medicine, with a particular focus on childhood sleep-disordered breathing. His primary research interests include the development of point-of-care screening tools for childhood obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), the cardiovascular consequences of sleep-disordered breathing and inadequate sleep duration in children, and the effects of OSA treatment on cardiovascular health. Professor Li serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (Blue Journal) and is Associate Editor of Respirology and Frontiers in Paediatric Pulmonology.
